The Goodnow “PAL” (Police Athletics/Activities League) Center strives to create and maintain a positive and nurturing relationship between the community and the local police force through opportunity, activity and programming. Although basketball courts were in high demand, The Goodnow PAL Center struggled to maintain basketball programs because the courts had fallen into such disrepair.

2K Foundations brought basketball back to the community with two new courts and basketball clinics, and basketball indoors with a refurbished teen room and copies of NBA 2K Xbox consoles, TVs, sofas and beanbags.
